ABOUT THE SESSION

What if conflict lead to opportunity?  Brilliant leaders know when leveraged well, conflict can deepen trust, create greater understanding and lead to organizational growth.  Participants will learn five techniques to navigate difficult conversations to reach impactful outcomes through a dignified and mindful process.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn tools to successfully approach conflict
  • Address difficult conversations with confidence while producing a positive outcome
  • Identify opportunities within areas of conflict to grow trust, create new ideas and better communicate
  • View conflict as positive – it signals opportunities for growth, deeper trust, greater understanding and new possibilities
  • Identifying root causes and strategies for resolving organizational conflict

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS

Christina Rowe is the Founder/Leadership and Team Development Consultant at The Collaborative LLC, responsible for teaching individuals to take on leadership and those in management roles how to build their most successful teams, enjoy their work and create strong outcomes.  Christina has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and is a Gallup Trained and Certified Strengths Coach.

For 25 years Lisa Stokes has blended her extensive nonprofit and management experience with mindfulness and nonviolent communication training to guide nonprofit leaders in multiple sectors through difficult conversations to successful outcomes.
