Experience Factor is supporting a Colorado philanthropic foundation in their search for a temporary HR Generalist. This key role directly supports the HR Director, and manages the tactical HR functions including payroll and benefits administration, new hire onboarding process, maintaining employee data, etc. If you are a strong HR pro that is available ASAP to support a wonderful organization focused on improving the health of all Colorado citizens, this is a great opportunity.

Responsibilities

Data and HR Systems Administration

  • Manage all aspects of the HR side of payroll process
  • Maintain the integrity of the HR & Benefits, payroll, applicant tracking and performance management systems
  • Ensure that HR system capabilities are optimized to best meet the needs of the organization
  • Serve as backup for payroll processing
  • Serve as the main point of contact and Administrator for ADP, Perform Yard and Newton/Paycor

Benefits and Compensation Administration

  • Reconcile monthly insurance statements
  • Manage tracking mechanisms for leaves, compensation, and benefits
  • Act as liaison between employee and insurance providers to resolve benefit related issues to ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee experience
  • Manage worker’s compensation benefit and perform unemployment benefit administration
  • Manage Wellness Program to ensure consistent participation and engaging offerings
  • Ensure 100% of benefit plans are administered consistently and adhered to in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Participate in reliable and valid salary and benefit surveys

Employment Recruiting, Onboarding and Retention

  • Prepare new hire packets, conduct initial onboarding HR/Benefit meetings and ensure timely new employee workspace set-ups
  • Assist with the management of the full-cycle recruiting process

Employee Relations

  • Provide on-going counseling and coaching to employees and supervisors on employment related matters and bring to effective resolution on a timely basis
  • Initiate and participate in investigation of employee relations issues and practices as needed

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years HR Generalist experience
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience working with human resources management systems
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience as a lead in payroll and/or benefits administration preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Experience working in the non-profit sector preferred
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication with strong values of discretion and confidentiality

This is a temporary role with potential for temp-to-hire. Role will be remote initially, but only local candidates will be considered. W2 Contract Role will pay $33-38/hr.
