Job Description:

We are looking for an individual passionate about working at a locally owned and operated company where details, customer service, and positive employee culture matter.  We have been in business for 50+ years.  Land Title Guarantee Company has an incredible company culture driven by leaders in every area of our company, and it starts right here with the HR team. We’re looking for an experienced and organized HR Benefits & Compensation Specialist to take an integral role on our HR Team.  Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail, process orientation, customer service skills, and a high degree of integrity.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Administer all employee benefits programs to ensure they are properly administered and legally compliant. Benefit programs include, but not limited to:  self-funded medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, Land Title Paid Leave Program, FMLA, FSA, Life/AD&D, and 401(k).
  • Assist employees with online benefits enrollment, claim issues
  • Hold benefits information sessions with new hires at Onboarding on Day 1
  • Coordinate annual Open Enrollment including: communication plan, HRIS programming, and vendor file feeds
  • Liaison for employees to resolve benefit issues concerning eligibility, enrollment and termination of benefits
  • Research employee benefit issues and inquiries; communicate resolution(s) in timely manner
  • Performs daily administration of benefits using ADP Workforce Now and related benefit/carrier sites
  • Provide accurate and timely data entry, enrollment and termination of employees, ensuring integrity of data within the systems
  • Worker’s Compensation administration and management
  • Administration of employee leaves including FMLA and Land Title Paid Leave Program
  • Leave of absence coordination with Payroll department and third party vendors
  • Lead annual compliance and audit activities including:  EEOC compliance reporting, ACA compliance, and 401(k) point of contact for 3rd party auditing firm
  • Annual administration of company wide employee bonus program
  • In coordination with HR Business Partners, review and oversight of base salary ranges by job title, market level, and pay grade.
  • Basic compensation reporting to support and ensure internal equity, salary ranges, and posted salary ranges are accurate.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • BA/BS preferred, not required
  • PHR/SHRM-CP preferred, not required
  • 2+ years of hands-on benefits administration experience, including work with a benefits broker and multiple vendors
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Colorado Pay Equity Law
  • Knowledge of Federal and Colorado State Leave laws as well as ACA, ADA, and ERISA
  • Strong PC skills primarily operating in a google environment and familiarity with excel
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check

  • The anticipated salary for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 annually. This position is exempt.
  • Annual employee profit-sharing bonus, based upon company performance.
