IPMA: Leading Your Employees by Coaching

Please join IPMA-HR CO and Sverrir Ragnarrsson for our November 6, 2019 event on coaching!

This presentation is designed to teach you skills to lead and mentor through coaching. Coaching is a process created to explore all the ways you can reach heightened and sustained level of performance and potential in your life.  As a Coach, the coach’s job is to work with you in this process through different areas in your life and profession.  If you develop mastery in the areas you want to focus on, then you will feel more purposeful and fulfilled at work and in life.  Coaches typically explore how clear you feel about your overall life and goals; whether or not you have the physical energy and mental stamina to perform your best; how confident and bold you are showing up in the world; what distractions or poor habits cause you fall off course and what routines can keep you on track; and, finally what you can do to better influence, lead and inspire your employees, coworkers, family and all those you serve.  People develop self-mastery in this process and discover new beliefs, habits and tools that help you join the most successful people. 

About the Presenter

Sverrir Ragnarrsson was born and raised in Iceland and now lives in Denver.  He has been running his Leadership, Coaching, Training and Speaking business since 2007.

Sverrir is a Certified High Performance Coach, as well as, Certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach, Trainer and Speaker.  Sverrir is a management consultant, and a certified trainer in various other topics that are focused on people skills, management skills and leadership skills.  He has worked with clients all over the world in the public and the private sector.

Sverrir is a dynamic and results-driven coach and trainer with great experience.  He is organized and results oriented with strong motivational abilities.  Sverrir has worked as the MD and HR manager in different companies and understands the needs of the workforce and management. 

Sverrir has taught for many different companies and federal agencies including: Federal and local government in Iceland, Denver and Colorado Government, Microsoft, Sony, IBM, Accenture and other large clients around the world.

Parking

The credit union parking lot is reserved for customers only and parking will not be permitted in the lot. Please plan to park on the street or in a nearby parking garage.  There is plenty of street parking before 8 am.
